Stacie Y. Stoltz, LCSW

An avid horsewoman since childhood, Stacie has over 20 years mental health experience and over 15 years experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Psychotherapist. She has worked in group homes, psychiatric hospitals, and in residential treatment centers. Stacie has been in private practice for the last ten years, working with youth, adults and families. Knowing the therapeutic power of horses, Stacie sought to incorporate them into her practice several years ago. Stacie began providing mentorship to youth with horses when she discovered the Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA). EAGALA trains and provides certification  specific to equine assisted psychotherapy and provides the education and knowledge necessary to utilize horses and psychological theories together in a dynamic therapeutic manner.  Upon training and certification by EAGALA, H.O.R.S.E. was created by Stacie and her co-founder Brenda Wright, thus realizing Stacie's vision of utilizing the therapeutic power of horses with people.
